The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium (RCJTC) is committed to meeting the transportation needs of students with disabilities in a timely manner in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. We will do so by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and by meeting our accessibility requirements under Ontario’s accessibility laws.

Specialized Transportation

Students with disabilities may require specialized transportation to and from school that is different from the standard 72-seat school bus. We work with the Students Success teams within local schools to identify students with enhanced transportation needs as identified in their Individual Education Plan (IEP). Requests must be made through your child's school and approved by the partner school board before specialized transportation will be assigned.
