|
| Traffic Hazard and/or Routing Issue | Our RCJTC Transportation Router Team is responsible for planning and managing bus routes and they are available to assist with any concerns that you may have with regard to hazards and potential routing issues. |
| Driver or Vehicle Concerns |
The RCJTC contracts with several transportation providers who employ school bus drivers and maintain school bus vehicles. Contact the transportation provider for your child's route to report any concerns that you may have about a bus driver or vehicle. If you are not satisfied with the response provided by the transportation provider, please contact the RCJTC Team to look into the situation further in coordination with the transportation provider and partner school board (as appropriate). |
| Lost Items | As transportation providers are independent from the Consortium, it is recommended that parents / guardians reach out to transportation providers directly if there are lost items that may have been left on school transportation vehicles. If they are not available, please contact the RCJTC Team for further assistance. |
| Bus Arrival / Departure Times (at Bus Stop) |
Bus routes are planned by the RCJTC Transportation Router Team using the BusPlanner software. They are designed to maximize safety and efficiency for students. If the arrival and departure times of your child's bus is regularly more than ten (10) minutes early/late compared to your assigned stop time, parents / guardians may reach out to transportation providers directly and if they are not available, please contact the RCJTC Team for further assistance. |
